Tarot: a deck of 78 cards with pictures and symbols used for divination...
The cards can be used for self-reflection, inner-seeking, divination, games and more. We have found them to be a wonderful tool for spiritual growth. We love the artwork that goes into creating new decks and we love to collect them. At TFL, we explore card reading skills and how we can use the Tarot to improve the quality of our lives. We also have a vision to showcase the work of artists, promote creativity, free-thinking and a loving environment for discussion. If you have always wanted to improve your skills in the wonderful art of reading Tarot cards, this is the place for you! Our site contains:

So, I show up for the Breakfast Roundtable with Dan Pelletier... He reminds me that it is 5AM where we're from. I am never up at this hour. But there are some things that are worth getting up for, and Dan is one of them. I am not sure where he gets the energy...
Dan led us in a discussion about the World card. If you are not aware of who Dan is, he is a partner in the Tarot Garden. Dan is a very bad man, tempting us with all those decks needing homes... or perhaps, he is in the business of Tarot Rescue. You be the judge. Whether good or bad, I found a few decks that needed homes at the Reader's Studio. I am not the only one.
So back to the World card... after Dan began the discussion with some commentary of his own, then he opened the discussion to the group. In the tradition of a talking stick, Dan passed his "pork on a fork" to facilitate the discussion. Everyone had wonderful insights to share (and the pork made it around the room without sustaining injury). I, being on the quiet side, declined to share, but I did write this in my notebook:

I am a little behind in my blogging, but here's a tiny taste of what our Friday contained. We began with our Foundation Readings. The Reader's Studio is set up so that you can actually see the difference it has made in your reading abilities. We begin by doing a reading with a partner with our current skill set. I was coupled with the lovely and talented Cheryl Sigler. She created a spread on the spot and gave me a lot to think about.
After our Foundation Readings were done, we were treated to Lunch-n-Learn session from Garnet. She and her belly dancin' babes related the different Tarot cards to our chakra system and to our bodies. What a blast...
